The Labyrinth

During our weekend down in San Luis Obispo we stayed at the Sycamore Hot Springs Spa & Hotel. One of the reasons I choose this hotel was that there is a labyrinth on their lovely, wooded grounds. The idea of our family walking in meditation on the labyrinth's path was something my heart said a big, 'yes' to.

Well, it turned out the girls ran most of the time but it was fascinating to see how naturally they were drawn in and how focused and centered they became. It was a magical experience for our family as well as an important piece of the groundwork we are laying for our girls; we want them to spend time consciously in nature and connecting/remembering Self so they can always remember who they are and how they are connected to Creator and all of creation. This labyrinth was a perfect opportunity to practice Being those things.
