Cordele

Cordele, Georgia. Southern Georgia. A small town surrounded by cotton fields and open space. Home to the maternal side of my family. We spent a quiet week visiting family and just relaxing in the watermelon captial of the world.

Amara checking out a deer skin at Carroll's Country Store.

Havana's turn.

Now the cow skin.

Following Grandma on a tour of the back roads.

A stop at the reservoir.

Exploring with Papa.

Papa entertaining us all.

Great Grandma Stone's house.

Havana requested a 'kids park' after we went to the VA park which had no swings or slides.

Photo of a photo of Great Grandma Stone. She passed in 2006 at age 94.

Oil painting of my birth mother Susan.

The reservoir in Crisp Country.

After seeing alot of cotton fields Amara announced, "I am tired of seeing cotton. It's boring."
