Green Cay

Another memorable outing that serve educational purposes and soul purposes! We went to Green Cay preserve (check out http://www.pbcgov.com/parks/locations/greencay.htm) where we learned about Florida wildlife and wetlands and took in the beauty, creativity and brillance of our Creator.
Amara was especially excited because she has been learning about biomes in school. So in between running the mile long board walk, she stopped to read the educational information along the way. We both appreciated what we discovered. Havana, she enjoyed running and playing about!

At the nature center we saw baby alligators and we met Oliver the Owl. The staff surprised us by bringing him out to show him to use.
Once again, we are blessed to have a another great adventure. We are fortunate to have the means to travel and do such things. I am most grateful and I am teaching them to be grateful too.
