We found a great place to hike and explore on the beach down in Dana Point. It was the perfect spot after an early morning where we had to get out before dawn to catch a flight. The warm sun (it was actually hot; I was in heaven) and salty air was just the perfect combo for us to get recharged. What we didn't expect was to find the most spectacular variety of rocks. We could have spent the whole day exploring the hundreds of patterns and sizes of rocks along this magical beach.
