Pixieland

In yesterdays blog post, I mentioned our visit to Pixieland this week. We had  great time there with our friends Valerie and Eli. Pixieland  (www.pixieland.com) is a perfect place for the little people to enjoy amusement park rides in a safe environment. It is on the small side, which to me is perfect. I felt safe knowing the girls couldn't get lost and I could keep an eye on them as they ran ahead from ride to ride. And the little people can ride most rides without the adults. There are some rides that the big people aren't even allowed on, like that infamous airplane ride (well, the big people can't actually fit on the ride so it's really not an option!)

This was our third visit. Amara and I came on her 3rd birthday. We returned with the whole family when Havana was around  1 1/2. She was too little to remember,  which meant this weeks visit was like her first time. Both girls had a blast and I was relieved they enjoyed the rides as we get ready for Disneyland.

Our friends will be returning to Georgia to live soon, which sadly means we won't have many more times like this in the Bay Area. So this trip was extra special because we got to share it with them.

Amara, Eli & Havana eagerly awaiting for the gates to be opened.

Havana is not the biggest fan of the Merry-Go-Round. She prefers the bench. But because I had to stand next to Amara on the horse, I had to persuade Baby Girl to give it a shot. She did and she had a great time!
Amara loved going faster. Havana not too much!

Havana actually felt a little dizzy on the tea cup.
Amara insisted that she ride alone. She is a brave girl.

Havana refused my joining her as well. She preferred the company of Eli!

These two were so cute together!
Here we are on the dragon roller coaster. Havana's not a fan of  loud noise.

But she loved the ride! That's my girl!
Amara's turn. She "loved that ride". That's my girl!

Val & Eli riding the tail! Eli had a great time too!
The train ride goes outside Pixieland through a park.

This is one view from the train ride.
