Many Rivers (not) To Cross

There seems to be an endless amount of rivers here in Alaska. Almost every turn we see another breathtaking river. Small ones, large ones, dark grey ones and bright greenish blue ones. Most have ice cold and very fast moving water (thus the Jimmy Cliff reference in this blog post title!) that doesn't allow for one to get too far in due to safety concerns.

We got lucky on the drive down the Kenai Peninsula though. There were plenty or slower paced rivers, perfect for the many fishermen (and a few females) we saw. We even came upon a lake. Once we stopped the girls got changed into their swimsuits quicker than lightning. All that water for days and not being allowed to really get in was a tease. Until today!

It'll be fun to see what other wonders of water we will discover during our remaining time in Alaska.
