Farewell to Preschool

As we embrace Havana's start to KT, we also mourn the end of the two sweet years Havana had at Kids Corner Preschool. It was here that Havana had her own place to go to while mom was at work; a place that was warm, welcoming, educational and fun. Havana met her own first friends (vs friends who were siblings of Big Sis's friends), learned her ABC's, napped dorm style and got to play and make many crafts.
In the few days since Havana left, she has asked me to drive by her "old school" so she could see it. I have obliged to support Havana in her process of change. She has expressed sadness over leaving and experienced that sadness can live side by side with excitement (new school).
I will always be thankful to Kids Corner and the awesome teachers who provided Havana a place to thrive and realize school is fun!
